O Romeo, Romeo!

Well it has been quite some time since I have posted but, I am still here and still knitting. I have finished several projects and will get pictures up soon. My favorite project has been Romeo
He was so much fun to knit!! Here are some pictures of him as I made him....

Here he is hiding in my knitting bag awaiting his little arms to be made and sewn on.

All made and with breeches and braces on!! Doesn't he look grand all dressed up!?!

Showing off his coconut wood heart buttons....(he is such a ham)
His sweet little face peeking into the camera.

Here are his cute little walking boots with matching heart buttons.

He also has a little sweater to finish off his outfit but, we are awaiting a photo shoot for that ;P

Keeping Busy!

Here are some of the things I have been up to...We have two babies at our church who will be coming into the world in December so, I knitted these blankets for them. One for a little baby girl and one for a little baby boy. The pattern is Snuggle Blankee and can be found at Etsy or Ravelry. The yarn is Pipsqueak and is sooo...plush and soft!!! I had a really fun time knitting this!!

I have been commissioned to tat four pairs of earrings for a friend. She has given me two definite colors blue and black and two maybe colors of purple and green. I tatted up these and will let her choose what ones she likes.

I also tatted up this necklace adapted from an edging in the book Occhi Schiffchenspitze Frivolite. I had lots of fun with this. It is tatted in DMC size 12 and turquoise beads in size 11.
I have been keeping my fingers busy!! My next project is a tatted doily. I just can't decide between this one or this one they both are so pretty!!! Decisions...decisions....;P I also have started this knitted stole. I love the color change and lacy look!

I have also been tatting snowflakes. Here is my little snow flurry!!!

Tat-A-Long Finished!!!

I finished Jon's tat-a-long!!!
Here it is in size 80 ecru thread. I love this pattern it is really lacy and delicate in size 80! I know I said I was going to keep this one but, it may be going as a wedding present to a lovely young lady :) Sigh....I never keep my tatting for long!

TATTING - A - LONG...

I have joined Jon's tat-a-long   and I am now ready for round three!!! I am a little behind because I started it with a green thread and then decided to change it to an ecru color. Most of our furniture is dark so ecru shows up really well and I plan on keeping this doily!!! Believe it or not I do not have one tatted doily in my home..I have a few crocheted ones...but, no tatted ones. I  gave the few I have made away so, this one is staying with me!
I have also been busy tatting up some earrings! I have had fun with all the bead combination's. These are from the pattern Basic Tatted Earrings by Kim Millar and the poor lil' feller with no mate yet is Long Elegant Earrings by Elizabeth C. Zipay. They have been fun to tat up!!!

DH did a great job of taking photo's of  these!!!!! The wind kept blowing but, he was patient   and got some lovely pictures for me!
